This piece explores how sound resonates within and through bodies—bodies as in the human body, and bodies as in objects, drums, snares. Each of these can block, absorb, amplify or sustain sound. The work asks what it means to play not only with sound, but with sound as a dimension of space, including bodies as active resonators and as co-sounding. What kinds of listening sensibilities can be uncovered there? And how might they a!ect the way we listen to the world at large?
